Spaghetti instead of Beer
Utrecht, The Netherlands
Today is our two year wedding anniversary! It’s hard for us to believe that it’s
been two whole years since our big day! The time has flown by but on the other
hand I think about everything that we’ve done in these last two years and it
seems like such a short period of time to have accomplished so much! Now we are
on the verge of another great adventure and I can’t imagine a better travel
partner than Mark. (And he assures me that he feels the same way!)
Our actual anniversary was pretty quiet this year! We had originally planned to
spend the weekend in Munich for the Octoberfest celebration but given all the
to-dos and the financials implications we decided to pass. Besides, who wants to
say that they spent their anniversary supping beer in a big beer tent with a
bunch of drunk Germans and foreigners??? Well, okay… we did/do! But, as it
turned out evening at home was actually pretty nice. No television, just a quiet
dinner of spaghetti and a bunch of great memories.
