Our travel in the Middle East was limited due to the current political instability of the region. We traveled extensively in Egypt and Turkey and had intended to visit Jordan but were unable to make the trip due to a lack of US dollars. Palestine, Syria, Iran, and Israel are currently difficult places to visit although we would like to return to this region one day in the future.
